Elopement

 

Traditionally, eloping meant you ran off secretly to be married. While this is always an option; the definition of eloping has grown over the years. There are many reasons you may choose to elope; save money, reduce stress, avoid family drama, and often one or both of you cringe at the thought of hundreds of guests staring at you with a large, traditional wedding. Speaking from personal experience, inviting a few of your closest friends to watch you tie the knot is a relaxing experience. When you return, throw a party or go to dinner to celebrate with your family and friends who weren't at your elopment. After all, this day is about the two of you and the beginning of your life together.
