About April

 

April Powers is a native of Minnesota and a transplant to Charlotte, North Carolina. Her love affair with travel began in 1987 with her first visit to Hawaii. She spent the next 20 years traveling as often as possible and making her way back to Hawaii for a few more visits.

 

In 2007 April decided to make a career change and began working with a well- known travel agency. She planned vacations for couples, families and large groups. In 2013, April had the opportunity to turn her focus towards her true passion of Romance Travel and she never looked back. This is when Second Honeymoons and Romance Travel was born. Her passion has always been working with couples, planning their honeymoons, anniversaries, vow-renewals, and romantic escapes. You'll find April is dedicated to each couple before, during and after their travel. April prides herself on a boutique style of service meaning that she is always the face that will meet with you and the voice that will speak with you on the phone. She will be your single point of contact throughout your entire experience. While she has an entire support staff to back her up, she promises to work directly with you at all times. 

You'll feel your vacation is the only one she's working on because for you, it's the only one that matters.
